​This year’s Armed Forces Weekend promises enough military hardware, foot-stomping music and daredevil flying to keep even the most hardened adrenaline junky happy.

Lord Mayor raises the flag for Armed Forces Week

The Armed Forces Flag will be flown from Plymouth Guildhall flagpole to mark the start of Plymouth Armed Forces Week following a ceremony on Monday 22 June.

The ceremony will take place at 10am in front of the Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Councillor Dr John Mahony, and the Lord Leiutenant of Devon’s representative, Deputy Lieutenant Sir Peter Squire.
