Plymouth’s Mayflower West car park is being closed as a precautionary measure after structural problems were discovered during survey work by Plymouth City Council.
The survey found more significant deterioration than predicted in some sections.
The car park has nearly 500 spaces and is the oldest major car park in the city, having been built in 1965.
