Police have released an Evofit of a man they are seeking in connection with a theft from a car in Plymouth.

Officers are investigating a break-in to a Land Rover Freelander in Severn Place, Efford, in the early hours of Sunday 13 March.

A witness saw a man crouching down and hiding beside the vehicle around 2.40am.

Once discovered he ran off with a second man who had appeared from beside the house belonging to the vehicle owner.

It was later discovered that the Freelander has been entered and searched, and a set of keys stolen from within.

Police have now released an Evofit of a man wanted in connection with the offence in the hope that the public can help identify him.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured or has information is asked to contact police on 101 or email 101@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk quoting crime reference CR/016285/16.
