Did you watch wrestling when you were younger? Did you ever dream of being the next Hulk Hogan or British Bulldog? Or do you watch it now? Dreaming of being the next John Cena, Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns?

Well that dream will this weekend become more attainable for the people of Plymouth, Cornwall, Devon and further afield, with the start of the Plymouth Wrestling Academy this Sunday run by the Plymouth Wrestling Association.

For as little as £10 you can get in the ring this Sunday and give it a go at the Plymouth School of Creative Arts, as the doors open on the new wrestling academy before the much anticipated September Slam event later that evening. PWA are also proud to announce that the head trainer for the school will be one of the best in the business, current PWA Heavyweight Champion Tyler Hawke, who will be headlining the September Slam show as part of a huge six man tag match.

The academy will be offering more than just wrestling classes, with a class this Sunday for anyone who fancies himself or herself as a referee or a ring announcer. So if that sounds more like your thing, there will be an opportunity to learn from top referee Ed Dyer and resident PWA ring announcer Luke Parnell. Moreover, if you aren’t ready to commit to a class but are interested in what is going on, you can buy a ticket to watch the classes and see if it is for you!

On Sunday there will be a limited amount of spaces and the classes will be for both males and females aged 14 years old and above, with classes starting at 4pm. However, in the coming weeks and months the academy will be offering sessions for both juniors and adults so watch this space!

Places are filling up very fast so to avoid disappointment book your place now by visiting http://plymouthwrestling.co.uk/training/
