The Chestnut Appeal for Men's Health has teamed up with Rockets & Rascals to bring you the '77' challenge.

The challenge is simple enough; register online and then ride either 77km or 77 miles in one ride during the month of July. You can ride it on the road, you can ride if off road or you can ride a bit of both, you can do multiple laps of your garden or a one way trip.

Steve Toze, Creative Director “At Rockets & Rascals we would normally be knee deep in long rides, coffee fuelled tales and travel-based adventures by July. Our community of cyclists, centred around our cafe on the Plymouth’s Barbican, has come to expect some novel events so it’s great to be able to tie up with The Chestnut Appeal and bring a challenge of a different form.”

Registration to the event is £12.

Once you have completed your 77 Challenge then send in your evidence and we will post out your unique ‘77’ medal. Or Join the Strava Club

David Squires from the Chestnut Appeal ‘We are really excited to be working with Rockets & Rascals on this fantastic challenge.  You can enter wherever you are in the world and we’re already exciting to see your routes and rides to unite for Men’s Health.”

Steve added “Already we have cyclists entered and planning their special 77km or 77mile rides and this is exactly what cycling is all about for us - creating some memories and getting out in the fresh air. Rockets will be there for moral support over our social media channels and our new take out is open 7 days a week to provide fuel for the ride.”

Riders are asked to share their experience on Instagram, using the hashtags #RNR and #77challenge.

Submission deadline for this event is mid-August
