There’s no need to go to the Sidmouth Folk Festival this year – it’s coming to Calstock! In the first collaboration between Calstock Arts and Sidmouth’s annual celebration of the best of international folk, headliners Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas will preview their festival set at The Old Chapel.
Alasdair is recognized throughout the world as one of the finest fiddle players Scotland has ever produced. His name is synonymous with the vibrant cultural renaissance which is transforming the Scottish music scene.
Now regularly touring with Alasdair and creating a buzz at festivals and in concert halls throughout Europe and her native North America, Natalie Haas is in the vanguard of young cellists who are re-defining the role of the cello in traditional music.
