Crocadon Farm's first Pig and Poultry Fair takes place on 29 March 2014 from 9am - 3pm.

Finding a local, trusted supplier of point of lay hens, pigs, weaners and other poultry can be difficult, especially if you are new to the self sufficiency scene.

From all things pig and poultry related we are now taking bookings for our first market of this kind at Crocadon Sawmill, St. Mellion. Based in South East Cornwall our courtyard hosts a range of events each month, from Producer Fairs to Brocantes. Diversifying into this kind of event is something we have always wanted to do in the courtyard.

As an addition to the event we would love to invite all crafters and food producers. For example, pottery, paintings, pig and poultry products, foods and more.

The Pig and Poultry fair is a mixed market of livestock, all things pig and poultry related, quality arts, crafts and local foods. From Hens, Silkies and Bantams to Pigs and Alpacas come and see some of our favourite animals or pick up your first chicks for all those free eggs. Learn about how Alpacas can guard your chickens with Popham Alpacas.

As well as all things pig and poultry related you will also be able to buy your favourite foods from our local food producers as well as a few crafts. Not forgetting lots of fun, games and egg painting for the little ones.

There is live music in the courtyard and a cafe with excellent coffee and cakes beside a log burner for a real warm up. The event is set in a traditional stone farm courtyard largely undercover with free parking and free entry.
