Casualty cut from vehicle after two car collision

Emergency services were called to a two car collision which involved one person being trapped in their car in Shell Close, Leigham in Plymouth this morning.

Fire appliances from Crownhill and Plympton attended the scene and crews used hydraulic cutiing equipment to release the casualty from the vehicle. The injured person was taken to hospital by ambulance.

New contract awarded for patient transport in Plymouth

The contract for non-emergency patient transport in Plymouth has been awarded to the healthcare and waste services company SRCL Limited.

Emergency services have rescued a man who climbed the Tamar Bridge last night.
