Bonfire Night in Plymouth

Plymouth will be hosting a bonfire and fireworks display on Saturday 5 November on The Hoe for Bonfire Night.

Fairground rides and catering stands will be open from 4pm and entertainment, courtesy of Radio Plymouth will be provided from 6pm.

As the night draws in and the temperature drops, this event is sure to warm up when the bonfire is lit and the fireworks display is set off from the Citadel.

Thousands attend British Firework Championships

Tens of thousands of spectators gathered on and around the Hoe on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 August to see over four tonnes of fireworks set off into the night sky in six spectacular displays.

Hosted by Plymouth City Council and The Event Services Association (TESA) the championships are one of the biggest annual displays put on by professional firework companies in the UK.
