Fairport Convention and Friends in the Park

Veteran folk-rockers Fairport Convention celebrate 45 years on the road with special guests Tarras, 6-piece folk-rock band from the North of England, John 'Fake Thackray' Watterson, keeping alive the repertoire of comic songs by the late, great Jake Thackray, brilliant ragtime and jazz guitarist John James and the ever-colourful Exmouth Shanty Men.

Gates open 1pm. Music from 2pm until midnight. Showcase performances by the best of local talent 2pm - 3.30pm. Main concert starts at 4.30pm.

It is feared that 16-year-old Jordan Cobb from Plymouth drowned after he jumped from Torpoint ferry on New Year's Eve.
