Some of the biggest names in world diving competed at Edinburgh for the third leg of the FINA/Midea Diving World Series 2013.

Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley took home gold in the 10m platform event on Sunday, with Alicia Blagg and Rebecca Gallantree securing an impressive silver medal in the 3m synchro.

Men’s 3m synchro pair Chris Mears and Nick Robinson-Baker secured a bronze to complete the hatrick.

The competition, the first international diving meet on home soil since London 2012, gave the British divers a chance to test themselves against world class competition ahead of the World Championships in Barcelona this summer.

In the videos, the divers give their thoughts on their training and performances in the lead up to the World Championships.

Away from the pool the diving team will have another busy year with Hannah Starling and Alicia Blagg due to complete their A-levels whilst Tom Daley will be gearing up for the second series of hit TV show Splash!

2013 will also be a big year for swimmers and budding divers all over the country, as British Gas launches SwimBritain, a campaign to create a healthier nation and get more people in the pool regularly by 2015. Visit swimbritain.co.uk
