A new sponsorship deal for Honiton Rugby Football Club for 2023 has been announced by Westcotts, the South West’s leading firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers.

Players from the 1st XV team joined the firm’s Honiton-based Manager Paul Hawkins (pictured) to ‘kick off’ Westcotts’ support ahead of the club’s home game against Exmouth II in the South West Division – Counties 2 Tribute Devon league on Saturday (21 January).

A new prominent pitch-side perimeter board sporting Westcotts’ new logo and branding was unveiled at the Allhallows Playing Field in Honiton, along with the team’s new kit. Westcotts is also sponsoring Honiton RFC’s vice-captain Jake Smith (pictured) during the 2022/23 season.

The firm, which has an office at Queens House on New Street in Honiton, as well as offices across Devon including Exeter, Axminster, Crediton, Seaton and Tiverton, has backed the club for several years.

Paul Hawkins, Director at Westcotts’ Honiton office, said: “We have been proud supporters of Honiton RFC for over a decade and our new sponsorship and advertising deal reinforces our commitment to the club. Honiton RFC plays a significant role at the centre of the local community and our personal long-standing connection to the town as a well-respected local firm of chartered accountants and business advisers aligns with Honiton’s values. We’re proud to support the team during the 2022/23 season and wish them all the very best.”

Chris Gould, Marketing and Sponsorship Manager for Honiton RFC, said: “To have the support of Westcotts as a main sponsor of our club is incredibly valuable to everyone involved. We are grateful to the firm for helping to play a major part in the current and future success of Honiton RFC. As a community club, we rely heavily on local businesses to help fund our work through sponsorship agreements such as this. We appreciate our continued relationship with Westcotts and the contribution they make towards the club.”

Westcotts has more offices in the South West than any other firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, with a team of experienced and talented experts that have a wealth of knowledge offering a wide range of specialisms and services.

The company has supported individuals and businesses across diverse sectors operating in local, national, and international markets for over 30 years.
