Plymouth Argyle sriker Marvin Morgan has been ruled out "for three or four months" with a shoulder injury.

The 6' 4" forward was hurt in a game earlier in the season and will now require surgery to fix the problem, meaning Morgan will miss a substantial part of the season in recovery.

Manager John Sheridan said: "Unfortunately, Marvin Morgan is going to have an operation on a shoulder injury. It’s a big blow for us."

Morgan joins fellow striker Matt Lecointe on the sidelines, meaning Sheridan may have to look to bring someone in on loan.

Marvin Morgan said via Twitter: "It isn't the best time and I feel the PA fans haven't seen the best of me but I promise to come back mentally & physically stronger #PAFC".

We wish Marvin well in his recovery.
