Woman sexually assaulted in Plymouth

Police in Plymouth are appealing for information following a sexual assault in the City.

The incident occurred between 6.00pm and 6.35pm on Friday 22nd January in Sea View Terrace, in the St Judes area of the City.

The victim, a woman, aged in her early 20’s was walking along Sea View Terrace when she was approached from behind by a man who lifted her skirt, touched her bottom and took a camera picture up her skirt before running off.

The victim was not injured but was naturally very upset and shocked.

The suspect is described as being a white man, aged between 25 and 35 years, approximately 5’8” in height stocky build, with a prominent triangular nose and light brown mousey hair with a fringe.

He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top.
