Woman in car drops twenty feet into a garden

A woman was treated by an ambulance crew after her car dropped approximately 20 feet into a garden.

The incident took place just before 3.30pm on Friday 16 August. The Fire Service received a call from an ambulance reporting the collision at Elm Road, Mannamead, Plymouth. One fire appliance from Greenbank attended.

Fire crews reported that the female driver was free and clear of the vehicle on their arrival. She was tended to by the ambulance crew at the scene and taken to hospital a a precaution.

Fire crews made the vehicle safe using small tools.
