Witnesses sought after attempted robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery in Plymouth.

The female victim was walking on a path between Carnock Road and the Cherry Tree public house between 5.45pm and 6.20pm on Saturday 11 October, when she was approached by a man who demanded money from her.

The offender ran from the scene in the direction of Carnock Road after a member of the public intervened.

The offender is described as 6 foot tall, of a skinny build and was wearing a tracksuit with Nike Air Max written down the right leg.
