Three men charged with kidnap and assault

Police received a call at 1.15pm on Thursday 30 June reading a disturbance near the Tower Cabs office in North Road East.

A silver Vauxhall Astra saloon stopped at the location and three men got out. They took hold of a 22 year old woman and attempted to put her in the car by force. During the struggle a 34 year old man who was with the woman received a cut wound to his arm.

Three men were arrested and have now been charged. Gjafer Krasniqi, 26, of Beresford Street, Stoke, Plymouth has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm and kidnap. Jack Brawn, 19, of Budshead Road, Plymouth, has been charged with assault by beating, kidnap and with possession with intent to supply cannabis.  Paul William Goodwin, 25, of Finvoy Road, Liverpool has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm, kidnap. All three have been bailed to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on 1st August 2016.
