Teen left with extensive bruising after assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on an 18-year-old man on Sutton Road, Plymouth.

The incident happened at around 3.10am on Thursday 25 August 2016. The victim was believed to have been set upon by three unknown men.

The victim has been left with extensive bruising to his face and body in what appears to be an unprovoked attack.

The first suspect is described as white, mid-30’s, 6’ 1”, of larger builder, with brown hair, wearing a grey tee-shirt with yellow lettering on the front and blue jeans and grey trainers.

The second man is described as mid-20’s, medium build with blonde hair wearing a white tee-shirt with black trousers. The third man is described as white, also in his mid-20’s, with short brown hair, wearing a black shirt.

The suspects fled the scene in the direction of Exeter Street.

Police Constable Nick Warne said: “This is an appalling attack and we urge anyone with information to come forward.”
