Suspects sought after Plymouth assault

Police are searching for three men following a stabbing in Plymouth.

On Monday 2nd May around 3.30pm police were called to a property in Fairfax Terrace in the Stoke area of the city after reports of an assault.

A 26 year-old man from Plymouth suffered head and buttock injuries as a result of the attack. It is thought he was hit over the head with a weapon and stabbed in the buttock area. He was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not considered life changing or life threatening.

A 48 year-old man from Plymouth, also in the property at the time, suffered slight facial injuries that did not require medical treatment.

The suspects are described as:

A black man, with a stocky build, afro hair, big beard and aged in his late twenties. He wore dark clothing.

The second suspect is described as a black man, of slim build, around 19 years old with short black hair and was also wearing dark clothing.

The third suspect is a white man, of stocky build, aged in his late twenties.

The suspects are thought to have left the area in a blue car.
