Spinners Plymouth announces opening date

Plymouth’s newest venue, Spinners, has announced it will open its doors on Thursday 12th October, following a £1.2 million investment. The interactive games bar will offer fun, food and cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere and will be located at Drake Circus The Barcode, a leisure and entertainment destination in the heart of the city.

Spinners Plymouth will play host to a brand-new, innovative ‘clayshot’ concept, where the classic British pursuit will be brought indoors. The game allows guests to test accuracy and reactions, thanks to the latest technology, providing a fun, competitive challenge for beginners and more experienced shooters alike.

Situated on The Barcode’s lower ground floor, guests can choose between five clay shooting booths, five Duckpin bowling lanes as well as two darts oches. With elegant blossom tree themed décor throughout, visitors to Spinners Plymouth can expect a warm welcome, and plenty of healthy competitive fun. Table service offers freshly prepared food such as artisan pizzas and sharing platters. Guests can sit underneath the canopy of the blossom tree and enjoy shake-to-order cocktails.

Guests can expect unique games, such as the clay shooting game, which is the first of its kind.  The reduced lane length and smaller pins and balls that feature in Duckpin bowling mean that there’s more rivalry to be had – we just encourage guests to keep it as healthy competition!”

Operating over two floors, Spinners has capacity of 150 and will open daily, from midday until late. The upstairs of the venue plays host to a private bar, which is available for events and exclusive use. For those getting in the festive spirit, Christmas party packages are now available for booking – bring friends, family or co-workers for an evening of good food, drink and competitive fun!

Spinners Plymouth is the second interactive bar from the group, with the launch of Spinners in Reading in June 2021.
