Police hunting for missing man find body

Police  hunting for a missing Plymouth man have found a body.

Officers involved in the search for missing 22-year-old Daniel Knapp discovered the body of a deceased male in the Plymbridge area of Plymouth on Friday afternoon (25 September).

Formal identification is yet to be conducted however family members of Daniel Knapp have been informed of developments and police enquiries are continuing.

Mr Knapp was reported missing from his home in Chaddlewood near Plympton on Tuesday 22nd September.

Police said his disappearance was "out of character" and he had missed a significant family event.

Daniel is described as being a white man, 5’ 10” in height, large build clean shaven, with short black hair.He is believed to be wearing a grey hoody and jeans.
