Police are appealing for information to help trace a victim of a road rage attack in Devonport, Plymouth.

Members of the public witnessed the incident in Pasley Street around 2pm on Tuesday 21 July and contacted police.

A man was seen shouting and screaming through the window of a silver-coloured Ford Focus at a young male driver.

The offender then got back into the passenger seat of a silver-coloured Vauxhall Insignia which then reversed at speed at the Focus.

The Focus driver was forced to reverse his own car at speed to avoid a collision and the Vauxhall stopped about a foot away. The offenders then left in the direction of Ford Hill.

Police are appealing for the young male driver, who appeared visibly shaken by the incident, to come forward and contact them.

They are also appealing for information about the offenders. The man seen shouting at the driver is described as white, of large muscular build with mousy blond short cropped hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or email: 101@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk quoting log number 404 or 21/07/15.
