The Plymouth City Centre Company Board has today accepted the resignation of Stefan Krause, City Centre Manager.

Joining the city in 2013, Stefan has worked as the City Centre Manager for two years and is leaving his post as the 2015-2020 Business Improvement District (BID) business plan is approved.

Stefan Krause, City Centre Manager, said: “After two years in Plymouth as the City Centre Manager I have taken the difficult decision to move on from my post and start a new challenge in my career.

“Plymouth has come a long way in the last ten years since the BID was introduced and I’m confident that this will go from strength to strength as the 2015-2020 business plan gets implemented. I am confident that the Board will choose a replacement that will have the experience to drive this forward successfully.

“I am sad to leave this role, and I will miss the businesses I have worked so closely with, but I will take some very fond memories with me that I will always cherish.”

Chair of the Board, Doug Fletcher, said: “Stefan has been an asset to the City Centre and we will be sad to see him go. His passion and dedication for our city and the businesses has shone through. Everyone on the Board wishes Stefan all the best in his future career.

“We will be looking for a replacement to deliver the priorities of our new business plan, which includes some very exciting projects, and an advert will be published shortly.”

Stefan will leave his post on 30th April 2015.
