Otter supports the Otters!

Otter Garden Centres has become a proud sponsor of Ottery St Mary AFC, helping to give the men’s first team a smart updated look.

Financial Controller Robert Brown visited the pitch at Washbrook Meadows to meet with club Chairman Mark Isaacs and Joint Managers Rikki Pitter and Pat Curtis. Robert was delighted to hand over the very smart new strip in the team’s signature blue.

Mark Isaacs said: “The previous strip had seen action for some years and it was definitely time for an update!

“It really is great as a local club to have local businesses working with us. We hope we’ll be able to continue this new relationship with Otter Garden Centres for years to come.”

As well as being onboard as a main sponsor, the garden centre is sponsoring the club’s website.

Otter Garden Centres’ Managing Director, Jacqui Taylor said: “We’re really pleased to be supporting the team, they are of course based not far from our Ottery garden centres - which is where it all began for our business!

“It’s always been important to us to get involved with the community whenever we can and what could be better than helping a football club called the Otters!”
