Missing Paignton woman found safe and well

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare and whereabouts of a 24-year-old woman from the Paignton area.

A woman reported missing on Sunday (28 April) has been found safe and well in Paignton.

Katherine Hooper was located by a member of the public who alerted police to her location. She was taken to hospital for a full check up.

The police have thanked the media and public for their interest.

Ms Hooper was reported missing from the Queen Elizabeth Drive area of the town between 9 and 11pm on Sunday.

The police carried out house-to-house enquiries and deployed the police helicopter and ground units, as well as employing the help of the Dartmoor Rescue Group to assist in their search.

She had been deemed as high risk as this was out of character.
