Missing 74-year-old Plymouth man found in Bovisand area

Update 12 August: Found - Police confirm that Colin Bygrave has been found safe and taken to Derriford.

He was found shortly after 2am on Monday 12 August in the Bovisand area.

Reported 11 August: Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man who has not been seen since the afternoon of Saturday 10 August 2013.

Colin Bygrave, 74, from Plymouth, was last seen in the Plymstock area at around 6.00pm.

He is missing from Dunstone View in Plymouth. Police are appealing for residents in the local area to check outbuildings and gardens for Mr Bygrave.

Mr Bygrave is described as white, around five foot eight inches tall, of medium build with a full head of silvery white hair and distinctive bushy eyebrows.

He is believed to be wearing a checked shirt, a tie, a dark green jacket and navy blue trousers.

Police are carrying out searches of the local area.

Anyone who sees Colin or who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 1135 of 10/08/13.
