Plymouth Hospital’s Gold Dust Appeal – raising money to transform the children’s wards – has reached a significant milestone of £15,000.

The Gold Dust Appeal aims to raise £100,000 to create a bright, welcoming environment on level 12 at Derriford Hospital.

This will include tactile, colourful and interactive displays for patients and their families. Anita Dykes, Matron for Paediatrics, said: “We are delighted to have reached the £15,000 mark and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has so kindly raised money, donated and supported Gold Dust so far.

We still have a long way to go to reach our target so please, keep up the good work!”
