Kaspa’s Desserts has opened its new branch at Drake Circus’ The Barcode.

Located on the lower ground of The Barcode, the popular desserts chain will offer a selection of ice creams, gelato, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, smoothies and sundaes.

To celebrate the opening, customers can enjoy a free scoop of ice cream of their favourite flavour by following this link and downloading the Kaspa’s app.

And Kaspa’s will also be hosting an opening event this coming Saturday (7th January).

A spokesperson from ZK Group, owner of Kaspa’s Desserts, said: “We’ve been looking to open a branch in Plymouth for a while, so we’re really excited to be able to finally announce the opening our latest Kaspa's store at The Barcode. We can't wait to welcome customers and for them to try out our mouth-watering desserts.”

Greg Lumley, centre director at Drake Circus and The Barcode, said: “It’s a really exciting time for the centre and The Barcode, with a whole host of recent openings and Kaspa’s Desserts is another great addition to our restaurant and leisure offering, I’m sure it’ll prove very popular with our visitors.”

Creating over 20 new jobs for the local community, the restaurant will be open seven days a week from 11am – 11pm.

Kaspas’s will join a range of other leisure retailers and restaurants at The Barcode including Cineworld, BrewDog, PIAG, Boom Battle Bar, Nando’s, Five Guys, Cosy Club, Zizzi and Las Iguanas.
