Jogger left with life threatening head injuries after being struck by a motorcycle

A woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a motorcycle whilst jogging in Plymouth last night. (Monday 4 November)

The woman, thought to be in in her early thirties, was out jogging and she was struck by a motorcycle as she was crossing Greenbank Road at around 7:30pm.

The woman was rushed to Derriford Hospitial with what medical staff have described as life threatening head injuries.

A man in his early twenties, who was riding the motorcycle, received minor injuries.

Police are seeking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward and help them with enquiries.
