Fatal collision on A30 near Launceston

A man has died following an accident on the A30 near Launceston yesterday (2 December).
The collision happened at around 5.05pm and involved a Skoda and a tractor and trailer which overturned.
The elderly man who was driving the red Skoda Fabia died as a result of his injuries. Police said he was from the Hampshire area but has not yet been formally identified.
The driver of the tractor was taken to Derriford Hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed for accident investigation work and re-opened during the early hours of this morning.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them on 101 quoting ref 584 of 2 December 2013.
