Drake Circus shares opening times for last minute Christmas shoppers
For those looking to fit in some last-minute festive shopping, Drake Circus has confirmed its opening times in the run up to Christmas.
From now until Friday 23rd December, the centre’s shopping hours will be 9am – 6pm.
Visitors can also enjoy festive late-night shopping on Thursday 22nd December until 8pm, with more than 30 retailers open even later until 9pm for late-night shopping in the lead up to the big day.
Restaurants and leisure sites in Drake Circus’ The Barcode will be open even later for festive food and fun, but be sure to check with retailers directly for their opening hours. Visitors can also enjoy discounted parking at The Barcode for £2.50 if arriving after 5pm.
As well as shopping and dining, the centre’s festive fun will also continue right up until the big day with visits from Santa’s Magic Elves on Christmas Eve, as well as a performance from the Christmas Brazen Brass Band.
Greg Lumley, centre director at Drake Circus, said: “We know that Christmas can be a busy time for everyone, so we want to give our visitors plenty of time to get everything they need. We’re open right up until Christmas Eve and look forward to welcoming visitors doing their festive shopping or spending some quality time with friends and family – right up until the big day.”
The centre’s opening times for the rest of the festive period are:
- Saturday 24 December (Christmas Eve) 9am - 5pm
- Sunday 25 December (Christmas Day) Closed
- Monday 26 December (Boxing Day) 9am – 6pm
- Tuesday 27 December (Bank Holiday) 9am – 6pm
- Wednesday 28 December 9am – 6pm
- Thursday 29 December 9am – 8pm
- Friday 30 December 9am – 6pm
- Saturday 31 December (New Year’s Eve) 9am - 5pm
- Sunday 1 January (New Year’s Day) 10.30am - 4.30pm
- Monday 2 January (Bank Holiday) 10am – 5pm
