Drake Circus to host school uniform donation drive this week
Drake Circus will be hosting a school uniform donation drive this week to collect pre-loved clothing that can be supplied to families needing support ahead of the new school year.
Run in partnership with the Uniform Store Plymouth, the donation point at the centre will allow customers to drop off much needed school uniform items such as polo shirts, blazers, jumpers, trousers, and skirts.
The donation point will be open between 10am – 2pm every day from Monday 31st July to Friday 4th August at the customer services desk on the centre’s Lower Mall. All donations must be clean with no stains, holes, rips or missing buttons.
The full list of items that can be donated is:
- Primary and secondary uniform including branded uniform PE kit – t-shirts, shorts, tracksuit bottoms, plain hoodies, skirts
- Coats
- Socks and tights
- School shoes, trainers and plimsols
For those interested in collecting donated items or making further donations in the coming weeks, The Uniform Store’s store this year is located on 93 New George Street and will be open from 10am – 3pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

It is a huge help in creating awareness of our School Uniform project as well as bringing in much needed donations that we can then give away to families in need in the local area.”

“Not only does their service help to provide free school uniforms to those needing additional support, but it will also offer families an environmentally friendly way to recycle their pre-loved uniforms.”
