Appeal for witnesses to Plympton crash

At approximately 2.05pm Sunday 27th December 2015, a two vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the B3416, Plymouth Road, Plympton, Plymouth near to the junction with St Mary’s Close.

At the time of the collision the road conditions were clear abd dry.

A locally registered blue Ford Focus RS, collided with a locally registered green  Ford Fiesta Flight.

The 21 year old male driver of the Focus was taken to Derriford Hospital with what has been described as minor injuries.

The 60 year old male driver of the Fiesta was extracted from his vehicle by the fire service and taken to Derriford Hospital where he currently remains with. what are described as. serious injuries which are deemed to be neither life threatening nor life changing.

The road was reopened at 6.50pm.
