Appeal after 11-year-old hit by a car

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Plymouth.

The car was in collision with an 11-year-old boy at around 3.30pm on Monday 13 October on Delamere Road, Eggbuckland, near the Shimla Indian Restaurant.

The driver of the car continued on her journey, without leaving any details, after a witness indicated to her that the boy was unharmed.

However as a result of the collision the boy suffered an injury to his foot and was taken to Derriford Hospital.

The car is described as red or beige, but the make of the car is unknown.

Police are appealing for the female driver, and any other witnesses to the collision, to come forward.
