Plymouth School of Creative Arts becomes wrestling centre for Plymouth

On July 31st Plymouth Wrestling Association are expecting a big crowd of wrestling fans to descend on the Plymouth School of Creative Arts for its third show this year at the school.

PWA has built a strong relationship with the school and they have many more shows penciled in at the school for the rest of the year.

PWA’s mission is to bring world-class local Professional Wrestling on a regular basis to Plymouth and they couldn’t be happier with their new home, a place that reflects a lot of the values of PWA. The move from their old home at Stonehouse Creek Leisure Centre was an important one to make for the development of the company.

PWA Spokesperson Adam Sibley had this to say on the move: “We are proud of our past and thankful for the memories we created with our fans at Stonehouse Creek, but when the opportunity arose to move to a modern venue with state of the art facilities and a venue so close to the city centre we couldn’t turn it down. It felt like the right time in our development to really catapult ourselves in to the 21st century and we hope that when new fans & old fans come to our shows, that they will see how we are putting the word professional back in to Professional Wrestling.”

“Professional Wrestling is creative art at its best, so there is no more fitting home in Plymouth for wrestling than the Plymouth School of Creative Arts. This year has been a new chapter for PWA and it only seems right to be starting it in this new wonderful building. If you have been to a PWA show in the past, over some point of our 7 year history, I would encourage you to get to our show on July 31st to see how we have grown and changed from what you might remember. We want wrestling fans in Plymouth to know that if you want to watch wrestling, that Plymouth School of Creative Arts is the place to go.”

There are still some tickets left for Plymouth Wrestling Association’s summer spectacular event called “Heat Wave” on July 31st. The top two wrestlers in the southwest, squaring off for the PWA Heavyweight title, will headline the show as Tyler Hawke defends against Eddie Ryan.
