The Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club (RPCYC) takes pride in announcing the donation of £500 to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The sum was raised through a series of successful fundraising events, including the highly acclaimed "Parade of Lights" held last December, which captivated Plymouth crowds along the Hoe. The Parade of Lights, an annual event cherished by the local community with participating boats and crews from all over Plymouth, showcased the incredible spirit of maritime enthusiasts, and served as a memorable occasion to raise funds for this noble cause.
Commodore Chris Deane, on behalf of the Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club presenting the cheque to RNLI Plymouth Coxswain Simon Jefferey, expressed gratitude to everyone who participated in the various events, demonstrating their commitment to making a positive impact on the safety of our coastal waters.
