RGB Building Supplies is delighted to announce its renewed commitment to supporting local rugby clubs across the region, coinciding with the much-anticipated start of the Rugby World Cup.

To reinforce its dedication to nurturing grassroots talent and bolstering the local community it serves, RGB’s Tiverton branch is the corporate sponsor of two Tiverton RFC’s players – Matthew Hague and Jonny Fairclough – as well as a perimeter board sponsor.

The company recognises the vital role that rugby clubs play in fostering young talent and providing a sense of unity and belonging; however, these clubs often face financial challenges that threaten their existence. This is where businesses like RGB Building Supplies step in to make a significant impact.

RGB's sponsorship initiatives aim to provide crucial financial backing to clubs that often rely on the support of local businesses to maintain their facilities, invest in training programmes, and sustain the sport at the grassroots level.

Tiverton RFC, which plays in the Counties 1 Tribute Western West league, is a major part of the town with three senior men’s teams, and junior teams ranging from under 7s through to under 18s.

Paul Hague, branch manager at RGB Building Supplies in Tiverton commented:

"Supporting local communities has been a cornerstone of our company's ethos, and we believe that backing rugby clubs is a significant part of this commitment. Local clubs are often the lifeblood of towns and villages, and the excitement generated by the Rugby World Cup provides a unique opportunity to inspire more young players to get involved.

“RGB Building Supplies is proud to support teams likes Tiverton RFC across the county, helping them to operate and develop players – who knows, our support may help to nurture the next Maro Itoje or Jason Robinson."

In addition to Tiverton RFC, RGB Building Supplies is also a sponsor of the Cornish Pirates and Redruth RFC.
