Westcountry estate agents report from London

Last week, independent estate agents from a network spanning the Southwest made one of their regular trips to London to showcase property for sale across the region, at the Experts in Property’s Westcountry Property Exhibition.

The latest venue for the exhibition was the library of the historic Mitre Hotel, which sits opposite Hampton Court Palace and was built for the previous King Charles in around 1665. It proved to be a great location for the exhibition given its ease of accessibility, especially to people in the local Surrey commuter belt.

Agents were on hand to discuss properties and talk about the benefits of moving to the Westcountry to potential home buyers.

Steve Moir, chairman of the Experts in Property network, said: “The exhibition was promoted locally on many social media groups as well as local publications, and was well attended by potential buyers, including young families who are keen to offer their children a different lifestyle. The location was great and we’re already looking forward to our next event, which will take place in the spring!”

The event was one of a series of regular exhibitions held by the network in the capital, designed to take available properties directly to potential buyers in London and the Southeast, and is just one of the many benefits for home sellers who put their property on the market with their local estate agency member.

Steve added: the Experts in Property continues to demonstrate the willingness of its estate agents to go the extra mile (well 160 miles actually) to provide the maximum marketing exposure for their clients’ properties. The network exists for the benefit of its members and their clients – we provide HR and marketing support, training and legislation updates, and a dedicated platform for Westcountry property as well as the opportunity for everyone to work together to sell homes across the region. The power of networking to share experiences, ideas and best practices should never be underestimated – there is always something to learn, and we are all proud to work as a team rather than competitors. It gets better results for everyone concerned!”
