Colliers International has been instructed to sell four established holiday and home parks  in the South West on behalf of Barton Park Homes.

The instructions are part of a nationwide mandate for Colliers to sell Barton Park Homes’ entire UK portfolio; an established group of eight holiday and home parks located in various locations across England. The parks are being put on the market to enable the Barton Group to embark on expanding their other business interests.

The South West region is home to four established parks within the group -  Glenholt Park and Bittaford Wood in Devon and Walton Bay and West Bay in Somerset.

Glenholt Park, near Plymouth, provides a substantial park home estate with a site licence for 269 mobile homes. The 49.2 acre site is currently developed with 258 pitches and as such provides development opportunities. Also located in Devon is Bittaford Wood near Ivybridge, a mature, well laid out park home estate developed over 8.7 acres with 54 mobile home pitches developed.

Glenholt Park and Bittaford Park have been launched to the market with guide prices of £7.5m and £1.5m respectively.

The Somerset parks are the established Walton Bay in Clevedon; which is a superb coastal park home estate with exceptional views, developed with 31 pitches; and West Bay, located in Watchet which is an exclusive new park home estate development with a site licence for 16 park homes and benefitting from being in a picturesque yet accessible location.

Walton Bay and West Bay have been launched to the market with guide prices of £1.75m and £500,000 respectively.

Simon Bland, Associate Director at Colliers International commented: “Glenholt is one of the largest park home estates in the South West and has an excellent rent roll in addition to numerous sales and re-sales opportunities.

“Bittaford Wood is located in an excellent trading location and provides park home living in an attractive tree lined setting. West Bay and Walton Bay are both coastal parks which attract premium park home prices and a new owner has the ability to achieve substantial future sales revenue on those plots which are currently vacant.”

Colliers is marketing the parks on an individual basis, but are also open to interest in the whole group or sub-groups.
