Woolacombe receives the most 5 star reviews!

Based on the North Devon coast in close proximity to Croyde and Ilfracombe, Woolacombe beach is often branded as ‘3 miles of heaven’, with the sands expanding for 3 uninterrupted miles with beautiful scenery. This brings enough room for families who wish to spend a day there as well as perfect sea conditions for kite surfers and sea swimmers alike.

At Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park, Woolacombe continues to be one of the holiday parks main attractions, due to the close proximity to Woolacombe Beach and all it’s beach related activities on offer (for example surfing, walking, swimming, etc). 

Hidden Devon gems to compliment a stay at Woolacombe Bay

Even if families plan on staying in Woolacombe (and why wouldn’t they!?), there is always the option to travel to other nearby Devon beaches that are highly reviewed during the same trip.

More research by Trip Advisor shows that beaches such as Elberry Cove come in with a super high percentage of 5 star reviews, even if the number of reviews comes in much lower number, in comparison to Woolacombe. 

These highly reviewed beaches may be a nice day out to complement a stay at Woolacombe Bay. Elberry Cove could be visited in a day, which is only a 2 hour drive away from Woolacombe. 

This data further confirms the popularity of Woolacombe, which still comes in with a significantly higher number of total reviews whilst maintaining the high percentage of 5 star reviews.
