Shoppers in Plymouth City Centre can get a taste of Little Italy as the Italian Food Market comes to town this week (9 - 13 September).

Located on Armada Way near the Place de Brest the Medfood London Italian Market is innovative and authentic and provides a number of mouth-watering stalls offering an array of wonderful Italian delights.

Providing a Mediterranean feel to the City Centre, shoppers will be able to purchase a number of treats whilst the market is open from 9am to 6pm. These include olives, nuts and dried fruits, baklava, Italian biscuits, Italian breads, nougat, fudge, liquorice, Turkish delight and salami.

Stefan Krause, City Centre Manager said: “The Italian Food Market is another fantastic opportunity for shoppers to enjoy all the sights, smells and tastes of a bustling street market in addition to our popular Plymouth City Market.”

Medfood London originally started as a business operated by two brothers, preparing Mediterranean food during the evenings and selling them during the day, and is now a successful rapidly growing company.

They also participate in large food festivals and trade shows such as Grand Design, BBC Good Food Show and the Ideal Home Show, as well as over 300 other exhibitions across UK and Ireland.  They can also often be seen within the UK’s top shopping centres and town and city centre locations.
