Brightside Exeter and Honiton invites young chefs to pizza making classes

Calling all young aspiring pizza chefs and ice cream aficionados… Brightside at Exeter and Honiton are holding pizza making and ice cream decorating classes on Wednesday 15th and Wednesday 29th November 2023, from 4-7pm. 

Each child will be given a pizza base and four toppings of their choice to create their ideal pizza which will baked to perfection in the pizza oven.   Moving on to pudding, each child will enjoy a dish full of soft serve ice cream and free rein of the toppings station, allowing their imaginations to run riot in an effort to create the dream Brightside Sundae. 

Charlie Jones, Operations Manager, Brightside says: “Everyone had a wonderful time at our first pizza making and ice cream decorating session last week.  The creativity and artistry of the assembled young chefs was excellent!  

“We’re passionate about quality ingredients here at Brightside so the earlier we engage the cooks of tomorrow, the better. Children are naturally curious and like to know where their food comes from and this is a great way to look at how dishes are put together…and it is great fun too!” 

The classes are a new trial for Brightside and kids joining these initial November classes will enjoy them, for free! Participating children should be aged 12 and under.  Places are limited so booking is essential.
