On Sunday 15 March, between 10am and 3pm, the team at Saltram will be offering families the chance to make a fresh flower posy made with flowers picked fresh from the garden.

“Wrap a ribbon around your posy and you have a gorgeous gift for Mum,” says Fiona Macmillan, Visitor Experience and Marketing Manager. “Then, for an extra special treat, book Mum in for afternoon tea at the Chapel Tearoom. She will love the real bone china cups and saucers and adore the gorgeous cakes. The Park café will also be offering our freshly baked cakes and traditional cream tea.”

The twenty acres that make up Saltram’s garden are bursting into life as carpets of daffodils emerge along the lime avenue. There are plenty of highlights this spring – visitors are encouraged not to miss the beautiful magnolias now in bloom as well as the bright pink camellias.

The garden at Saltram is open daily between 10am and 5pm and normal admission charges apply (members and under 5s go free).  Visitors of all abilities can enjoy the seasonal delights on show as access around the garden is entirely on hard-surfaced paths.
