Children can get crafty in the build-up to Christmas with festive family activities at the City Museum and Art Gallery.

On Saturday 20 December there's a chance to make robin-themed masks, bunting and other items at two ‘Rocking Robins’ craft sessions.

These will be followed by ‘White Christmas’ activities on Wednesday 24 December, where children can create collages, make badges and write notes to Santa.

Sessions will run from 11am to midday and from 1.30pm to 2.30pm on both days.

Admission is free but people are advised to book in advance at the Museum Welcome Desk or by calling 01752 304774.

The Museum and Art Gallery runs a wide range of family-friendly events throughout the year. Full details can be found online at www.plymouthmuseum.gov.uk.

Events coming up after the Christmas break include free film screenings for children and National Storytelling Week activities.
