The average person will speak 123,205,750 words in a lifetime. But what if there were a limit? Oliver and Bernadette are about to find out.

Walrus’ Theatre award winning show, fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons is coming to Theatre Royal Plymouth Monday 6 – Saturday 10 September.

This two-person show imagines a world where we’re forced to say less; examining how we express ourselves, personally and politically, through the lens of one couple’s relationship. It’s about what we say and how we say it; about the things we can only hear in the silence; about dead cats, activism, eye contact and Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons.

Walrus is a young company of graduates from the University of Warwick: director Ed Franklin, writer Sam Steiner, and performers Euan Kitson and Beth Holmes. Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons premiered at the Warwick Arts Centre before heading to the National Student Drama Festival in March 2015, where it won three awards, including judges’ commendations for writing and direction.

The production then visited Latitude Festival before selling out its run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2015, where it returned this summer, receiving glowing four star reviews, as a visiting show in Paines Plough’s Roundabout auditorium, before heading out on tour. The company’s style is formally innovative, theatrically intimate, and concerned with finding new ways to stage our relationship with the world

Tickets are priced at £15 and can be booked online at www.theatreroyal.com or by calling the Theatre Royal Plymouth Box Office on 01752 267222. Concessions are available
