Audiences can choose to be at the heart of the action, when the pioneering Paraorchestra bring their acclaimed show The Nature of Why to Theatre Royal Plymouth on Friday 01 and Saturday 02 March.

Conducted by its award-winning Artistic Director Charles Hazlewood, The Nature of Why fuses music and dance, with Paraorchestra inviting those attending the show to move amongst the musicians as they play, creating a joyous immersive experience that blurs the line between performer and audience.

With a score by Goldfrapp's Will Gregory and choreography by award-winning movement director Caroline Bowditch, The Nature of Why is an inspiring live show about curiosity and the world around us.

Charles Hazlewood says: "The Nature of Why is about bringing people together for an uplifting live experience in which we aim to break down the divide between artists and the audience. You can enjoy it from the side, or choose to get right amongst the heart of the action; either way it’s a thrilling and totally unique experience, with sounds from some of the UK’s top musicians. It's the first time we've taken a show to Plymouth and we are so looking forward to welcoming you to explore The Nature of Why - I can promise you it’s a wholly human, joyful, and beautiful experience".

Paraorchestra have built an international reputation for pushing the boundaries about what an orchestra is, through its energetic live shows, performed by its pioneering ensemble of professional disabled and non-disabled musicians.
