Hot on the heels of Stiltskin’s successful run of Igloo we are proud to announce the latest show at The Soapbox Children’s Theatre is The Town Mouse and The Country Mouse. This show runs throughout March and will delight young audiences.

The story follows the tale of Country Mouse excitedly waiting for a visit from his cousin, Town Mouse. When town Mouse arrives, he can not see her arrogance no matter what anyone else tell him.

What will happen when they venture together in the city – a place the Country Mouse could never possibly imagine.

Watch the story come to life with playful humour, puppetry, music and country dancing!

The Soapbox is the only Children’s theatre in the UK and is set in the grounds of Devonport Park, Plymouth. It performs pieces just for children which have included Caterpillar for babies and toddlers through to Macbeth for Kids for older children. The Soapbox is the perfect place to introduce little ones to theatre in a relaxed atmosphere. Bring your wellies so you can explore the park afterwards.

Stiltskin, are the resident performers at The Soapbox Children’s Theatre and made up of Jaqueline and Iain Slade. Jaqueline said “I loved reading this story to my children when they were little and it has been lots of fun bringing the story and characters alive”.

Iain added “be quick to book as two shows have already sold out!”.
