Colleagues cycle to raise funds for local school

St. Mellion School in Saltash are celebrating after receiving funds for new gym equipment.

The funds were raised by electricity company Western Power Distribution (WPD) colleagues Darran Witton and Mike Keay after completing Mouth To Mouth, an 80-mile cycle ride from Exmouth to Plymouth.

Darran, whose daughter is a pupil at the school, said: “It was hard work, but we are so pleased to be able to give back to such a great school.”
