SW firms to receive free boost to better HR efficiency

The Holy Grail for any HR department is the ability to manage all its resources, staffing needs, pensions and day to day office management in one place.

Specialist firm Eppione has achieved this goal by creating a FREE to use ‘one stop shop’ platform for small and midsized businesses to address all their HR, Employee Benefits and Business Insurance needs.

The company has developed close links with Plymouth Science Park and, combined with its offices located around the UK and Europe, it aims to bolster and enhance online systems for HR departments – both in the city and across the South West.

Eppione is one of the first high tech companies to have successfully developed a unique solution that substantially improve the way businesses manage HR. Early results show that the Eppione system has greatly improved office efficiency, internal communications and staff morale.

At its core, the system provides HR managers with access to a vast range of HR functions from the simple birthday reminders, to time management (including holidays and absence), timesheets and assistance in the training and development of the company staff.

“We haven’t seen anyone else in the UK or Europe put together such a comprehensive programme as we have,” says David Kindlon, co-founder of Eppione which is also authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK to provide advice on Employee Benefits and Insurance.

“We work in a highly regulated environment and recognise the opportunity to streamline the day to day business practices in one all-encompassing platform to better manage the complex world of employee benefits and business insurance.  We have a belief that not all support services need to be expensive and especially when serving the SME market”.

The platform has taken two years to develop to ensure it operates in a robust fashion. It allows HR managers and business owners to login to the portal from anywhere in the world and manage employees locally and in other countries while receiving crucial data analytics.

Employees have access to their own portal and Eppione also makes available a secure mobile app to conveniently access to the system.

The system went ‘live’ in January 2017 and is already proving to be exceptionally successful with 2,500 employees using it. Forty firms already signed up with the largest client to date utilising the programme for the benefit of 400 employees (the smallest client uses it to assist with three employees).

With existing offices around the UK, Eppione has decided to position itself at Plymouth Science Park due to the excellent facilities and its fantastic location.

“There is a huge platform for small and medium sized enterprises in the south west,” says Neil Fallon, co-founder of Eppione. “We are keen to work with the entrepreneurial spirit in Plymouth to help business grow and develop in this beautiful part of the world.”

“The support provided by Plymouth Science Park to small and medium sized businesses is excellent and we are pleased to be able to offer further development opportunities for these companies.”

“There are many business parks dotted around the country but Plymouth Science Park is unique as it actively encourages people to become involved in the community spirit.”
