Plant equipment stolen in Plymouth

Police in Plymouth are appealing for information following the theft of plant equipment.

The trailer based platform (pictured) was stolen from the BT Radio Station, Forder Battery, at Fort Austin Avenue in Plymouth sometime between 4.45pm on Tuesday 4th August and 7.30am on Wednesday 5th August.

The offender(s) forced a gate to the secure compound, before removing the item by towing it with an unknown vehicle.

The platform valued at several thousands of pounds is a DIN 210XT model, it’s chassis number being YGCD210XT5002562, and serial No. 5002562.

Anyone who has either seen the stolen item or has information regarding the theft is asked to contact police on 101 or 101@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk quoting crime reference number CR/54352/15  or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
